In time-honoured fashion, 'Ghost' have once again released an EP. As was the case on the previous EP, "Popestar" contains surprising cover versions of Echo and the Bunnymen, Simiam Mobile Disco, the Eurythmics and Imperiet, as well as a new Ghost single named 'Square Hammer'. After the previous EP's Eurodance pop of the late 90's ran its course, here, the 80's wave is now in evidence alongside a modern techno hit. At this year's Grammy Awards, Papa Emeritus III and his nameless Ghouls were awarded the "Best Metal Performance" award. In Germany, a headline tour and acting as support to Iron Maiden was proof enough that the award had gone to the right band.
