Whatever - Ignite are one of the few bands who achieve a lot with little efforts. Each of their records could underpin their status of being one of the most respected bands in their genre. “Our darkest days“ is a 14 tracker bursting with a high quality mix of hardcore and punk in an unmistakable manner. The Orange County bodies put much emphasis on tight melodies and fast pace. That sounds a bit as if Bad Religion melodies would meet the edgy riffs of Green Day copulating with the coolness of Social Distortion. Resulting from this you are mercilessly hit by such highlight tracks, as “Know your history“, “Poverty for all“, “Three years“ or “Fear is our tradition“.
