by Oliver Kube (10.03.2008) There is one more! After "The last sucker", the final regular studio album, Ministry-boss, Al Jourgensen releases this collection of cover versions. Beside the already known songs, "Roadhouse blues", "Supernaut" and "Lay lady, lay", eight songs are being offered. Among them: "Under my thumb" (vocals: Fear Factory’s Burton C. Bell) of the Stones, performed in Revolting Cocks manner, the T. Rex Rocker, "Bang a gong" and Louis Armstrong’s ballad, "What a wonderful world", which after a calm beginning is culminating to a noise orgy. Highlights on the disc, however, are the funky Deep Purple hit, "Space truckin’", sung by Prong’s Tommy Victor, a cool interpretation of Golden Earring’s classic, "Radar love" featuring Josh Bradford on mic and the true slaughter, "Just got paid" of Jourgensen’s personal favourites, ZZ Top. At the end of the day surely not the best and not the most important Ministry release that most of all should not to be taken too seriously but at least, "Cover up" is surely an entertaining pastime!
