Death Metal going big
It isn't just another Death Metal album. In a way its a kind of milestone in Death Metal history, the album that should be responsible for opening the gates to Death Metal for much wider audience. Some die-hard underground adepts of this genre may accuse both Chuck Schuldiner and exactly his third full-length album of opening the above mentioned gates too wide... Well, they may be right in a way, but still what can't be denied is its refined style, top class musicianship and its definite "we're the leaders, not the followers" mentality. Death Metal classic, no less.

The old classics live again
The second solo album of ACCEPT guitar wizard Wolf Hoffmann just like it’s predecessor (which, unfortunately, still isn’t available on vinyl) presents some more famous classical works in his own interpretation for “a guitar and small orchestra†. What really makes it shine is the way Wolf treats the works of the old masters. No trace of some cheap show-off here, no “hey, listen to how good I am on my guitar† arrogant attitude, but definitely as respectful and careful treatment of the classics as they really deserve. Excellent work, highly recommended.
