Where does heavy metal come from?
The end of the 1970s saw the birth of heavy metal. It originated in England and made its way from here to the world.
The easiest way to describe this music genre is certainly as a mixture of hard rock and blues. Today, one can definitely no longer speak of "classic metal". There are a wide variety of sub-genres - including death and black metal.
