by Holger (null) After the disappointing "Cause for conflict"-longplayer the guys surprise me with their new output "Outcast". On the one hand the newcomers of the band Tommy Vetterli (ex-Coroner) as well as the good old Ventor provide a fresh breeze, on the other hand the guys sound damn modern and experimental without scaring away fans of the early hours. Already the opener "Leave this world behind" is pushed by a cool groove and aggression. "Phobia" and the unusual "Black sunrise" follow the opening shocker. Further highlights are "Nonconformist", "Outcast", "Stronger than before" and "Whatever it may take". Apart from "Renewal", "Outcast" is the best Kreator album and aside Grip Inc's "Nemesis" one of the best album of the genre.
