"Mille anni passi sunt" CD by Corvus Corax

The first one is that of a band called Tanzwut have meanwhile entered the charts, and now the prehistoric originator of this music, the new cd of Corvus Corax, is turning in my cd-player. They have to be real professionals, where else would they have the time for this amount of energy from? Whoever had the chance to get to know this Middel Ages' formation, knows what to expect. Whoever does not: what kind of music is one of most renowned and oldest Middle Ages band with meanwhile 5 bagpipes and three drummers supposed to do? For fans of this kind of music surely enough another fine masterpiece and a worthy investment, so there is no chance to mourn about this release. Especially the detaching from the pure flair of the Middle Ages towards almost modern arrangements earn full respect. However, this scene, as it seems to me, is in danger of extermination by the number of intriguers and imitators. Whoever is sitting on the top can fall deep. So you better buy soon, for the riders of extinction are riding this combed field.
