"Exodus" CD by Waken Eyes

Waken Eyes is the new field of activity for the outstanding guitar player Tom Frelek. Together with singer Hendrik Båth (Darkwater) and ex-Harmony Mike Lepond (Symphony X) on the bass and Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani) on drums. - Exodus- is the band's debut. An impressive and very complex album that will appeal to progressive as well as melodic metal fans. Trademarks of the band and the album are the catchy melodies, challenging instrumentals, progressive parts and epic cinematic parts that are dominated by Tom Frelek himself as well as his guitar playing. In this way, the album builds up and culminates in the 19 minute long title song. Mixing and mastering took place at Fascination Street (Opeth, Symphony X, Kreator) in Sweden.
