"True metal for real bastards" is a slogan that is displayed on billboards in fiery neon letters, triumphantly written on book covers and proudly presented on back patches. Double middle fingers greet everyone who doesn't belong to the metal club. So, this is WOLF's slogan. They have lived according to this phrase since 1995. "When we grew up in the 80's, we discovered classic bands like Saxon, Accept, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or Mercyful Fate", singer and guitar player Niklas 'Viper' StΓ₯lvind explains. "This is heavy metal for me. We just want to play heavy metal and also call it heavy metal. Meat and potatoes."
