'Alles glänzt' - The new album by Feine Sahne Fischfilet will be released on May 12, 2023.

Five years ago, Feine Sahne Fischfilet released their last album, which propelled the band from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the top 3 of the charts and what is commonly referred to as the 'big breakthrough'. This was unusual for a band that was formed in 2004 by a few friends in the province, with the main goal of creating a buzz in their immediate surroundings, not to complain and wait for others to do something for them, but to take matters into their own hands in every aspect - privately, politically, and otherwise.

In the following years, they were consistently on Tour, starting in the youth centers of their home region, then Touring through clubs and autonomous centers across the country, and eventually becoming regular guests at the most important festivals in the German-speaking world. Even at their own concerts, the venues and open-air events kept getting bigger. Feine Sahne Fischfilet embraced their listeners when things got heated. And things were always heated. Everything was there: disillusionment, drinking, fun, agitation, reason, rioting, and excess. And because the band constantly got politically involved and caused controversy, trouble was always on the horizon and often a constant state. Nazis, AfD, as well as local and national right-wing extremists continuously put obstacles in their way. 'Alles auf Rausch' (Everything on a Binge) was the name of one of their concert Tours during this phase, and that's how Feine Sahne Fischfilet traveled, until they took a longer break at the end of 2019. Sometimes they soared, sometimes they fell hard. But after every binge comes the hangover...

All this madness, all these ambivalences, all the good and bad days are reflected in the songs on their new album 'Alles glänzt' (Everything Shines), great songs between emotion and hardness. And one of Feine Sahne Fischfilet's special strengths is also fully showcased on the new work: They constantly cross musical boundaries, turning their uptempo punk rock into a multifaceted listening pleasure that will move not only their fans' feet but also their hearts.

The 12 new songs on 'Alles glänzt' were produced by Philipp 'Philsen' Hoppen, who is known and celebrated for his production work with Die Ärzte, Kraftklub, and K.I.Z, among others.
