A must for cradle fans
Dusk and her embrace is still my favorite CoF album. Haunting melodies, electrifying guitars and the first time we hear Dani's shrieks. In Original Sin we hear the original version of the album, the way it was originally recorded.
Now this original version is not better than what was eventually released but it does provide an interesting look at their original intention. The songs whilst similar to the those featured on Dusk sound rawer and not as polished. There are different lyrics than what ended up on dusk and the vocal patterns aren't as tight. But for a fan if is a great insight into a great album.
If you're getting into CoF, I'd recommend getting Dusk and her embrace, but if you're a fan... Original Sin is a fascinating listen

Great album
Max from Sepultura combines with Alex from fudge tunnel to create this aggressive masterpiece. Catchy riffs, an industrial like sound and pure venom being spat from both vocalists. This was their only studio album and even now it's worth a listen

Still got it
I haven't paid attention to Metallica since Load. When I heard they were releasing "hardwired" I didn't pay too much attention, till the rumours of their resurrection started as whispers then became war drums.
The comparisons to "justice" are there for all to hear, and I'm surprised they've still got it in them . Catchy and heavy as hell, this isn't as dark as justice but stands on its own.
If you've ever given up on Metallica this will make you start believing again

An absolute masterpiece. Catchy, melodic, one of the best albums of 2016
