premium quality

this tee isnt ideal but does have some very nice touches.
The positive:
Big bold, front design, covers alot of real estate - much more coverage than a normal tee. Back design is nicely positioned, just a small circular design at top. Embroidered sleeve design (ace) and external tag. The tee itself is really good quality, has that soft feel of premium brands such as superdry etc but not as thick.
The negative:
the tee has an all over effect/weave/print that to me makes it look like it was used as a painting rag before being printed. I really, really hate it - looks cheesy, nasty and cheap.
Pains me to say this - really wanted to love it....:(

a necessary addition

This latest package of Aftershock is a welcome addition for collector and casual fan alike. It's the full studio version of Aftershock and instead of the dvd that was originally packaged, comes with a live cd of 'best of west coast tour 2014'.
The digipack itself has been changed from the sandy original to a gold and it looks superb! The cds have also had the gold makeover so it's a really nice looking thing simply as an object. They've updated the booklet also, adding in a slew of (great) photographs which is also welcome.
As a rabid collector it's great to have new versions but also the live cd is sounding great. My obly complaint really about the whole thing is a lack of new songs on the live cd (only Lost Woman Blues making the cut). With such a huge back catalogue, they introduce new songs very slowly to the live set which is a great shame. Many fans would love to hear a good chunk of Aftershock live.
So, all in all, a great release, nicely packaged, nicely timed to whet our whistles for Motorvember. See you on tour - down the front!

a nice bit of kit! in common with most of these types of thing its quite thin...which may or may not be a good thing.
The print is ok - looks a bit rough where it goes over the pockets etc on the front.
Anyway, looks the part viva Motorhead!

top class

being somewhat older than the average bear I'm not really a poster person as such. I do however have this up on the wall (framed - show some decorum!)

An item for the total completist only - both the high price tag - and Lemmy's insistence not to buy it ensure that.

Stunning

I am a motorhead nut. (you'll note the only stuff i buy/review on emp is Motorhead!)
First and foremost this is an absolutely beautiful coffee table style book. As both a photographer and a motor-nut, this gets the thumbs up from me. Stunning colour photography throughout - a real must have.
For good measure you also get World Is Ours II on every format, which fit neatly inside. A perfect package for every fan.

Superb album

An absolutely storming album from the boys! Won't say too much about the music - it's Motorhead, you love it, i love it - what more do you want?
The print is very nice - the good old War Pig / England on thick cardstock paper.
My only gripe is that they came in a large box, the print just rattling around, getting beaten up by the bouncing cd. My first print was trashed - emp kindly replaced it - but the 2nd was packed in the same way! Fortunately it wasn't damaged as much 2nd time, so i just kept it.
