A early black speed metal classic
The album starts of with there 220 mile per hour Victims of state power, this song rules it has great riffs and a awesome chorus. Total head banging madness and after an opener like that it would seem hard to keep the pace for the rest of the album. But running wild strike back with a track of equal value, the mighty Black Preacher with a chorus that might even be catchier than victims of state power but still not quiet as fast as the mighty opener. After hearing these two tracks preacher comes at a bit of a shock, its a good song but mediocre compared to the first two songs. Enter Soldiers of hell and Diabolic force two more speed metal killers, Soldiers of hell has one of those awesome Judas priest harmonized solos that I was talking about earlier, pure classic stuff, a great song.

Port Royal! Lawdamercy!
I cant even single out particular tracks as being the best (aside from Calico Jack) this album is so damn good that I love them all. Sure, some mark a little higher than others like Uaschitschun and Mutiny, but this Port Royal just has every little bit of what I want in an album. Im primarily an extreme metal fan, but I adore these heavy metal ones that stand the test of time. Rolfs vocals are distant still, but ferocious and melodic as all hell and high water. He can wail with the best of them now, and the gang shouts accompany him are like his rabble. Even the instrumental showcases some very cryptic playing that presents a ton of bass skills (no surprise since it was written by Becker, the bass player at the time).

Fantastic!
It’s a bit odd how “Branded and Exiled† is one of the more overlooked albums in Running Wild’s discography, particularly since it presents a marked polishing of the coarse, yet catchy heavy/speed metal of their debut, “Gates to Purgatory†. Indeed, “Branded and Exiled† marks the spot where lead bandit Rolf Kasparek firmly laid his hands on the elements that would come to define later albums, which is especially reflected in the more developed melodic character of the blazing riffage. It’s not the best Running Wild release, but “Branded and Exiled† is certainly mandatory listening from these German legends, and arguably even surpasses the following album, “Under Jolly Roger†, in terms of outright quality and significance to the development of the band’s sound.

Epic Speed Metal at its best!!
"Death or Glory" is one of Running Wild's best albums, although they do have a lot of "best albums." After the classic "Port Royal" this album has a different and more epic feel about things, not in a serious way but just in the way certain tracks like the first one and the second to last one sound. It's actually pretty amazing in itself how these two albums were made in the space of two years, they are both so great. The band would eventually go on releasing classic after classic.

If you don't own this classic album in some form, you just are not metal
One of my very favorite bands from "back in the day", and this album reigns supreme like few others do. With its unique and disturbing vibe, this is Tom G. and friends at their heaviest and most uncompromisingly "kvlt".

Awesome little goat!
Special for family visits! You can put as an ornament in the center of the living table. Not to mention the kids loved it! I'm already thinking of buying a second Baphomet to leave on my desk in the firm's office. Lovely!
