Cult street with decades long success
The success story of Sesame Street started in 1969 when the first run of the children’s series appeared on TV screens. The series was meant to not only entertain children, but also to educate them. The characters served both as tutors and jokers. Kermit, also well-known from the Muppet Show, and the Cookie Monster quickly became the most loved characters and shot straight to cult status. No wonder, though, given they’ve entertained generations of children and adults from the offset.
