When does the metal party kick off at Catton Park?

The British summer sun is beating down, the first cold drinks cracks open… okay, anyone who has ever partied in the UK knows you should always be prepared for that classic English rain and definitely shouldn't leave your wellies at home. But whether it turns into an absolute mud bath or beautiful sunshine, the atmosphere will be electric. Bloodstock Open Air 2026 takes place from the 6th to the 9th of August. Mark it in bold in your calendar.

Where does Bloodstock Festival take place?

That just leaves the question of where exactly to aim your sat-nav. As always, this legendary metal spectacle takes place in the picturesque Catton Park in Derbyshire. Once you get close, you can't really get lost as the event signage is top-notch. Just follow the convoys of cars packed with metalheads. A quick tip: as soon as the friendly stewards direct you to a parking space, follow their instructions and just ignore the directions on our phone.
