These days, they don't do catchy, melodic, modern Dark Rock very often... Especially with the extra asset of being peppy and Pop-py, as is the case with Down Below. Indeed, their new studio output "Wildes Herz" contains twelve entertaining, enjoyable, versatile, and hypnotic compositions - all of them charts material. The band succeeded in creating remarkably thoughtful tracks - in spite of their airy melodies and overall dreaminess. The crispy and upbeat guitars make for the necessary spice and clout - that'll get you out of bed in the morning!
But the band also has a keen ear for authenticity even when the calmer parts of their songs prevail. Well, these blokes seem to have imbibed musicality from their infancies, I guess...
