by Oliver Kube (08.04.2010) More than six years - the wait for new material delivered by my favourite band seemed to last forever... But, as usual, it has paid off: "Thin air", the atmospheric opening song on this eighth album by the Art rocksters hailing from Liverpool, dispels all doubts. I don't even want to point out single songs because the whole CD contains only class A stuff (mixed by Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson, btw). So, I'll just check the tracks for little extras adding to the diversity. One example: "Universal" with that great sax making for an exciting twist, the guitars in it adding extra dimension. On dreamy "Angels walk among us", HIM's Ville Valo helps with emotional backing vocals. "Hindsight", a gloriously melancholic, very long, but not boring (almost) instrumental, finishes a wonderful work - I just hope we won't have to wait for the next one until 2017...
