Carpathian Forest from Norway was founded in 1990. They started their record career with the cult demo 'Bloodlust & Perversion' in 1992. Since then, the band has recorded several albums and is considered one of the elite bands that emerged from Scandinavia in the 1990s.
Originally released in 2002, 'We're Going to Hell for This' consists of rarities of the band, with unreleased material dating back to the fruitful 90s and showcasing Carpathian Forest's hate-filled old school black metal; it also includes demo tracks and cover versions of classics like Darkthrone, Discharge, and Venom. Mainman and sadistic mastermind Nattefrost, as well as Vrangsinn, Anders Kobro (In the Woods...), and Tchort on bass (Emperor, Green Carnation), are included.
