by Markus Wosgien (23.01.2008) "War of words" was a slag in the face, really. Pantera helped make Heavy Metal become modern and also Rob Halford had a similar vision with Fight, too. The sound was dynamic and direct and vocally pushed the Metal god to the limits. On the DVD, there is an extensive, cult-like Road-Movie with many backstage recordings, interviews and documentations. An entertaining movie that perfectly reflects the time. Refined is the album with numerous live-clips, yet, often only in bootleg quality, including shows in Bonn and MΓΌnchen, as well as an MTV-performance. Topping on the ice are three promo clips for "Nailed to the gun", "Little crazy" and "Immortal sin". Beside the DVD, the arty box includes a CD featuring the demo versions of the twelve "War of words"-songs: A must-have for Halford-fans!
