With their three records so far, "Selected scenes from the end of the world", "Psycho magnet" and "Oddities", Sean Brennan wrote history in the 90s and it took him almost ten years until now his new baby sees the light of day. "Violent acts of beauty" bursts for variety, ideas and first-class songs. Especially the clear statements for the current world situation are wonderfully placed, e.g. in the driving forward "America's a fucking disease" or the ear candy, "Feeling fascist?". Musically, the Gothic genre is being used in its whole range, there are all sorts of elements among the twelve tracks bursting for power and melancholy. The songs are enormously sensual, mystical and quite sexy. Close your eyes, be inspired and seduced.
