Article description

Re-release of the debut album โ€œUse once and destroyโ€ (2002) from 'Superjoint Ritual', a side project of Pantera bassist Phil Anselmo (including demo versions of "Starvation" and "Little Uโ€).

Since bassist Phil Anselmo wanted to concentrate on vocals for this album, Hank Williams III was recruited for this project. The album has been described as โ€œraw and powerfulโ€, and is considered by many to be direct continuation of Panteraโ€™s distinctive sound. Unfortunately, the aggressive tone of the music also seemed to take over, meaning the project came to an end after the second album.
