by Matthias Mineur (null) Don't be surprised if some things might sound different on the second Iron Savior album since Blind Guardian drummer Thomen Stauch left the band already on the first tour officially due to lack of time. Furthermore, Sielck announced that Hansen won't be available for the second tour either. Fortunately, the Gamma Ray guitarist still helped Sielck out in the studio. Otherwise you might be missing some brilliant solos on "Unification" which continues the fantasy story of the first longplayer and still it's fast power metal of the melodic kind. You'll notice easily that the musicians participated in arranging the songs a lot more than on the first CD, especially Gamma Ray drummer Dan Zimmermann's powerdrumming forms a stable framework for the 11 songs. And above all the voice of Sielck is audible Bang yer heads, folks!
