by Lisa Hofer (03.11.2008) 2003, their remarkable demo managed to secure Equilibrium a place in the ranks of up-and-coming Pagan Metal bands. 2005, the Germans delivered "Turis fratyr" - this high quality output made for yet another advancement in their career. The versatile, high-pitched shrieking voice of blonde front man Helge Stang is just perfect for songs Γ  la "Widars Hallen", and works for the epic passages, but also for the more powerful moments of the CD. Equilibrium convince you with their mixture of roughness, melody, German lyrics and Viking attitude -acoustical tracks like "Heimdalls Ruf" top it off. The 2003 demo hasn’t been available for some time, and not only fans have regretted that -after all, it is exciting to see and to experience the musicians from the start… But now, "Turis fratyr" will be re-released, and as a special treat the demos are also included!
