by Florian Drees (03.02.2009) I think "True kids superbrawl" is one of the heftiest German Grindcore/Brutal Death releases in 2008. With this thing, Snatch Club, the German quintet formerly known as Elephant Man, offer us an evil chunk oβ hate you really shouldnβt miss. Mean blast beats, brutal break beats and and some outrageously irate bloke at he mike - thatβs what you want, and thatβs what you get. The absolute highlight of them all is "Female serial killer": vocalist Tobi goes deep - and deeper. But the singing is not the only thing to enjoy, the same goes for guitars and drums, perfectly produced by Nowak & Ebers (War From A Harlots Mouth, Final Prayer). The only little drawback is the "length" of the album because without interludes and intro, "True kids superbrawl" is just about 20 minutes long - on the other hand thatβs not really unusual in this genre... Fans of Carnifex, Whitechapel or Suicide Silence: prepare to order.
