by Marco Schneider (null) After the last year's surprise in form of the fantastic "Graveyard classics" cover-album, SFU don't wait too long and release their fourth studio-work, "True carnage". And after some listening sessions, I am not afraid to say that it is even stronger than the great "Maximum violence". Beside the world-class of the songs, the album also convinces with a stunning sound and diversity. We are not only offered the classic haunting Six Feet Under stuff like "The day the dead walked" or "It never dies" as well as two really fast tracks, "Cadaver mutilator" and "Waiting for decay", in which Chris Barnes roars like in best Cannibal Corpse-times. We also get slow moments like in the mega-track "Sick & twisted" featuring a furious duet of Chris Barnes and Karyn Crisis, as well as the closing "Necrosociety". Another hammer is "One bullet left", which should bring the breakthrough for Six Feet Under. The driving and very groovy song is a collaboration with Ice-T, who added some powerful raps lyrics. A great album, released in a limited edition including an additional poster and a video-clip.
