Torem takes listeners on a journey to a mystical world of ancient percussive instrumentation and hypnotic singing. The album offers a unique sonic experience and marks the beginning of a new trilogy by the band, which tells the story of the three worlds of their country in a cosmological sense. On Torem, the duo utilizes the ancient languages of Khanty (a Siberian indigenous tribe) and Old Norse (Old Icelandic). d, the album title means 'Great Sky' - where ancestors sit and where the souls of humans and animals are reborn in the form of birds. This is also the place where a key figure of the album, a shaman, embarks on his first journey to learn the wisdom of the Great Spirit.
