Together with Savatage guitarist Al Pitrelli and Jimmy DeGrasso (among others, Black Star Riders), Megadave Mustaine and David Ellefson recorded 'The World Needs a Hero'. Just a year later, the band split up (which lasted for 3 years and was lifted in 2004 with 'The System Has Failed'). The band shows a greater focus on mid-tempo and incorporates more 'Rocky' moments and melodies. This suits the band very well. Songs like 'Return the Hangar' or '1000 Times Goodbye' are unjustly forgotten gems!
