One could forgive you if you have difficulties summarizing the sound of Svalbard in a few words. Since their formation in 2011, the band has dabbled in Black Metal, Post-Rock, D-Beat, Shoegaze, Hardcore, and Post-Metal. While their music stubbornly refuses to fit into a specific genre, the only word that describes the British quartet is: unique.
