It is a wonder that "The underworld regime" was released at all. Original written as Gorgoroth album by King Ov Hell, it should have been recorded by God Seed later on. Finally, Gaahl was replaced by Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir).

The promising outfit includes no lesser Antichrist all stars than front man Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir), bassist King (Gorgoroth), axes Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Teloch (1349), plus drummer Frost (Satyricon), who joined forces to further strengthen their beloved baby, True Norwegian Black Metal. And they go back to their evil roots: rough, icy, saturnine, rotten to the core and refreshingly puristic, the traditionalists from hell go right at the throats of false gods and the post-modern hypocrisy of our consumer society. The songs come from the depths of moldy dungeons and scary torture chambers: "DevilΒ΄s harlot", "Acts of sin", "Hill norge"... May the bloodbath begin!
