12.Inside your world
by Marcel Anders (10.01.2007) As business men Godhead are a true disaster: their first two records were released on Marlboro Music, before they signed to Marilyn Manson's ephemeral Posthuman-label, afterwards wondering why they didn't progress with their career . But it is not surprising that after having chosen a cover of the Beatles-classic "Eleanor rigby" as a single released under supervision of a famous artist that they were regarded as a clone of his music. Which leads to the fact that Godhead haven't been in Europe since 2001, their last records were only released in America and several of the band members split off. But mastermind Jason Miller doesn't give up. With "The shadow line" he dares a new beginning which also reflects in the music. The twelve songs are better and more variable than ever: a mix of heavy Nu Metal, gloomy Industrial, powerful ballads and finest Pop. The quartet plays with razor sharp staccato guitars, playful synth sounds and some passionate vocals in best Chris Cornell-way. A great comeback!
