"The likes of us" CD by Big Big Train

The Likes Of Us' is being released as a limited CD + Blu-ray Mediabook edition (featuring Dolby Atmos & 5.1 Surround Sound mixes by Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief as well as High-Resolution Stereo).

The award-winning progressive Rock band BIG BIG TRAIN is releasing their 15th studio Album through InsideOut Music, and it's the first full Album with new frontman Alberto Bravin (ex-PFM). The highly anticipated release of 'The Likes Of Us' follows the extremely successful European tour of BIG BIG TRAIN, where they performed 17 shows in nine countries, culminating in two triumphant performances at London's Cadogan Hall. The Album is a stunning work that includes all the elements that make the band so special, including captivating and memorable arrangements and first-rate music.

Beyond definitions, BIG BIG TRAIN is a big fish in their chosen pond. With their Album 'Common Ground,' the group achieved the return of prog Rock to the UK Top 40 charts in 2021. 'Big Big Train is primarily a Rock band, but we are also a prog band,' explains bassist and co-founder Gregory Spawton. 'We are very aware of the traditions we follow; we have never denied them, and we never will. The fact that we're bringing classical-sounding prog back into the charts is absolutely fantastic.'

During the group's recent tour, two tracks from 'The Likes Of Us' - 'Oblivion' and 'Love Is The Light' - were introduced and enthusiastically received by the audience. Amid a wave of rebirth and celebration, Bravin was accepted as part of the family. In fact, the band's ever-evolving chemistry has led to fantastic results. 'We have a great mix of people who want to be here and go the extra mile to make something truly special,' says drummer Nick D'Virgilio. 'There is a great world of talented musicians out there, and fortunately, some of them want to hang out with us.'
