JAG PANZER is not only one of the most important US Heavy Metal bands, but also one of the first. The band was founded in 1981 in Colorado and released their debut album ('Ample Destruction') only three years later, in 1984. Today, almost 40 years later, that record, which already presented the band's distinctive style, is considered a milestone in American Heavy Metal and is often referred to as a precursor to power metal. Over the past decades, the Heavy Metal scene has had its highs and lows - and the band's career has also had its ups and downs! Nevertheless, JAG PANZER managed to release ten more studio albums and earn the status of absolute genre legends. And yes, of course they are called 'legends,' 'veterans' - but that by no means means that the band sounds outdated, because the opposite is true: their new studio concept album called 'The Hallowed' includes both their important characteristics and sounds like a classic JAG PANZER album, but it is also so energetic and aggressive that it manages to impress both old-school die-hard fans and young genre enthusiasts alike!
