With 'The Complete John Peel Sessions,' there is a new live recording of the band, which was previously only available as an unofficial bootleg. The live album is released on Jack White's own label, Third Man Records.
The recordings for 'The Complete John Peel Sessions' were made in 2001 during two live sessions in the studio of the legendary British producer, radio host, and DJ John Peel. Jack and Meg White performed songs from their third album, 'White Blood Cells,' as well as from their previous album, 'De Stijl,' and a variety of cover versions, including Dolly Parton's 'Jolene,' Gene Vincent's 'Baby Blue,' and MC5's 'Looking At You.'
