by Matthias Mineur (10/02) The Black Sabbath Story Volume Two The second part of the pictorial Black Γ¬ Sabbath-history, including many rare and thrilling recordings from the glory Γ¬ 70s, 80s and early 90s. Main focus of this DVD is the slightly weird Γ¬ flashback on the different line-ups. You meet Ronnie James Dio who became a Γ¬ Black Sabbath-legend with 'Heaven & Hell'. Then you see, almost forgotten, Γ¬ the era with Deep Purple-frontman, Ian Gillan, who tried on 'Born Again' t Γ¬ forget the long years of quarrels with Ritchie Blackmore. Low point, Γ¬ creatively at least, surely was Β¦Dehumanizer', when Black Sabbath tried a Γ¬ reunion with Dio in 1992 and heavily failed musically. Also if the video Γ¬ clip for "T.V. Crimes" is technically great, every musician of that era Γ¬ sucks. The chronology ends in 1992, all later deeds do not take lace on Β¦The Γ¬ Black Sabbath Story Volume Two'. (Matthias Mineur - 10/02)
