Kai Hansen, one of German music’s defining artists, conquered the world of music with Helloween and later Gamma Ray. Last year he finally released his first solo album, ‘XXX - Three Decades in Metal’, after 30 years in the business. The recently released ‘Thank You Wacken’ is a snapshot of Hansen’s first and only live show for this album. Hansen invited a number of well known colleagues on board for the album: Alex Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn), Frank Beck (Gamma Ray), Michael Ehré (Gamma Ray), Corvin Bahn (Crystal Breed) and Clémentine Delauney (Visions Of Atlantis), as well as a guest appearance from Michael Kiske (Helloween, Unisonic).
