13.Just like it's supposed to be
by Matthias Becker (04.07.2007) Punk, here and there diving into Metal spheres, only to come back up with a playful guitar solo - that's the sound the Punk-rockers of Guff free themselves. Which is not to say that they only remain at the surface of Punk. They have been around for eight years now producing cool, hymn-like songs equally putting them in line with bands like Rise Against and Bad Religion. Supporting Dynamite Boy, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Sum 41, they took credit for their fresh, rocking Punk songs. A bit of horror show and poetic facets pushed the Fun Punk of their early career aside. "Symphony of voice" was produced by Charlie Paulson (Goldfinger) and Noah Shain (Orsen) in Los Angeles, who pushed the buttons with lots of feeling so that the vitality of Punk could remain.
