"Suffocation" CD by Suffocation

Preceding the release of their "Souls to deny" album in 2004 - after a long timeout of this acoustic demolition command - the scene was waiting in anticipation. And like two years ago, also on their self-titled, sixth album, Suffocation thrill over the whole course of the album with a perfectly balanced mixture of technically high level, and still, mercilessly brutal Death Metal made in U.S.A.. Powerful riffs appeal to your mind (because rhythmically often very intricate) and stomach (for the fat bass sounds). Frank Mullen's incredible grunts are the definite proof for his exceptional status among the extreme screamers. Fortunately enough, the sound of "Suffocation" is not only unbelievably powerful but also very differentiated. Experts of the genre should order their copy immediately!
