"Gods to the godless" has been the much demanded cornerstone of their live performance for ten years. This intense anthem alone would catapult the third epic album by the Irish Pagan Metal combo into the hall of fame anyway. Includes a bonus CD with rarities, cover and live versions.

by Björn Thorsten Jaschinski (08.07.2010) The third round of the deluxe re-releases features an absolute classic of the Irish. At first glance, the cover with that Ouroboros (the snake biting its own tail) looks pretty simple. At the turn of the century, the band wasn’t that simplistic, though: for the first time, their epic style, influenced by old British Doom/Death/Black/Heavy Metal masters, had their very own, unique flair. It was not a melange of the above mentioned with a touch of Irish folk any longer, but a genuine, very spiritual sound - the one we know now as The Primordial trademark. Majestic "Glorious dawn", impressively brilliant instrumental "The cruel sea", or "The burning season" (taken from an advance EP being part of the luxurious bonus material) are but a few chosen highlights on this wonderful release. Out of this world: the title track and the immortal live killer track "Gods to the godless".
