Although 'Speak of the Devil' is an Ozzy Osbourne album, in reality, only songs from his time with Black Sabbath can be heard. This is likely due to the tragic death of the exceptional talent Randy Rhoads, the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne. He had died just a few months earlier in a plane accident. Instead of releasing the almost finished live album with Rhoads on guitar, Ozzy Osbourne initially released 'Speak of the Devil' with classic Black Sabbath songs such as 'War Pigs,' 'Paranoid,' and 'Symptom of the Universe.'
