by Björn Thorsten Jaschinski (21.07.2008) Sepultura, and many other bygone bands on Cogumelo Records, have sowed the wind - Krisiun now reap the whirlwind. The three brothers pay tribute to that on their ultra brutal version of groovy "Refuse/resist".The Brasilians arrange their musical bloodshed, rhythm explosions and shredding guitars included, a bit more dynamically since the "Bloodshed" cut - now, even leaden riffs, murderous breaks ("Massacre under the sun") and melodious approaches ("Conradictions of decay") get a chance. With this, Krisiun have not only released their most diversified, but also their longest output (50:15 Minuten) so far. The short acoustic instrumental "Black wind" is just the calm before the storm starting with 'Whore of the unlightβ. Like Vader, Krisiun have reinvented themselves with this new album.
