"Shadow world" LP by Wolfheart

Before The Dawn, Dawn Of Solace, Black Sun Aeon, Routasielu - the multi instrumentalist Tuomas Sakkonen is an exceptional talent and presents a new Wolfheart album called "Shadow World". Front man Tuomas and his band have created another impressive album following the predecessor "Winterborn". The atmospheric death metal of the Finns always has room for some great melodies and elegant show pieces on the guitar. In contrast to the predecessor, "Shadow World" is a piece of teamwork where each member of the band has its very own signature parts. The band also did some parts of the song writing and lead guitarist Mika Lammassari gave input to two songs of the album. "Shadow World" represents all the strengths of winter metal that were to be heard with Winterborn already: Double bass drum attacks, brutal riffs, and exciting twin guitar leads in combination with Saukkonen's rough growls and well timed black metal brutality. The result is a Finnish melodic death metal sound.
