by Andreas Reissnauer (05.04.2007) Centinex are dead, long live Demonical! Since Centinex despite some great records never got any further, three of the ex-members try a warm start under a new name. Of course, also Demonical play Death Metal; that is self-evident already for the name and album-title. Still, they put some more pieces on in comparison to the predecessor band. That refers to both the heaviness and speed as well as the intensity. Demonical is bad, heavy and satanic and accordingly stand in line with their country fellows, Necrophobic. Great, gloomy and fast melodies can be found in both bands, yet, Demonical are even more rooted in old school Death Metal and look less in Black Metal direction. The compositions on this album are close to perfection. There is hardly any better way to play fierce Death Metal. Praised with an incredibly heavy production, I can only recommend "Servants of the unlight" to you!
