11.Secret Of The Runes (Epilogue)
by Patrick Schmidt (11/01) Therion have found their style many years ago and for every critic it seems as if the Swedes would give a fuck about progression. The fan base doesn't care, either, they are happy about every new collection of classic, bombast, opera vocals, Metal and pompous arrangements. And let's be honest, Christofer Johnsson and his fellows are excellent musicians who know what they do. "Secret of the runes" in comparison to its predecessor, "Deggial", sounds a bit harder in the guitars, but sets forth the usual line consistently. "Secret of the runes" is a concept album dealing with a traditional northern tradition and will definitely disappoint no fan of the band. So, I'm sure that Therion again will enter the charts.
