These ambitious five Finns have nicely settled between the popular genres, Metalcore and Thrash Metal. Great stylistic balances make way for some fine, blasting groove passages within the cleverly homogenous songs of the gifted troop. Founded in 2004, their current debut album, "Revival" features a great variety of good ideas. The Scandinavian quintet around the great singer, Marko NiemistΓΆ, embeds their highly dynamic compositions in superb guitar patterns β and the gifted string-duo, Jaakko Eskelinen and Mikael Kiikka rally knows what they are doing. The eleven songs rush by in no time β further refined by the contagious performance of drummer Valtteri Kallio making this newcomer album an adventurous listening experience. Malummeh create some up-to-date genre-modernity and are still authentically rooted in the good, old school.
