Fortunately, you cannot kill the artistic drive of Marcus Ehlin who has been the force behind this gloomy Swedish black metal horde for many years. After a longer hiatus, the dark souls of Siebenbürgen emerge from their creative crypts and offer their sixth studio album, "Revelation VI" to the night sky - and us. Totally in accordance with the style of its predecessors, the compositions of this new output consist of well-balanced tempi and a lot of emotions appearingly demonic. The Swedes achieve this emotional effect as usual with ultra-dark atmospheric tunes which make the song material easy on the ear. This -again very sumptuously orchestrated- individual mix of gothic, dark, and black metal components also contains gripping guitar fusillade and the obligatory vocal duels.
