The wait is over. 10 years have passed and 'Savatage' celebrate their return to the stage on the 2015 Wacken Open Air with thousands of visitors. This is what inspired Savatage to create a special anthology. "Return To Wacken" celebrates their return with every song of the globally known power metal group and delivers the understandably rough metal attacks with melodic sensitivity. Apart from the carefully selected tracks on the album, the booklet includes personal memories of Jon Oliva, pictures and press quotes regarding the two performances during Wacken Open Air. "Return To Wacken" is based on the set lists of both memorable performances during the Wacken Open Air 1998 and 2004 and is packed with studio recordings and their classic hits.
