Article description

Limited to 2000 CDs, is released in a Super-Jewel Box with a 16 page booklet and a patch! In their home country Sweden, RAUBTIER have released four albums since 2007.

RAUBTIER rose from the ashes of Hulkoffโ€™s thrash metal band HUNTER/KILLER. guitar player, singer, composer and text writer Hulkoff and drummer Buffeln continued their musical journey together and found a travelling companion in Jonas Kjellgren (also a member of SCAR SYMMETRY). He accompanied the band on the last two albums.

With a simple version of contemporary thrash, combined with an industrial edge, it was Hulkoff's dream to create stadium suited metal with captivating tunes, which is rounded off by brutal lyrics in Swedish.

His fondness of military metaphors and nature is reflected in almost every line.

The last album "Pansargryning" was released in spring 2014 in Sweden and it received rave reviews from fans and critics.

It was 5th in the Swedish album charts. During the following tour, the band played in front of large audiences all over Sweden; in summer, RAUBTIER was awarded gold for the first time.

In the following, the band played at festivals and went on tour with SABATON. "Bestia Borealis" was compiled as their first release outside of Scandinavia and soon became part of the band's series of successes.

It is the only band from Torne Valley in northern Sweden to be this successful.

Only a few bands are as loyal to their heritage as RAUBTIER is - Nordic men lock, stock, and barrel.
