Since their first days, they have tried to find the perfect mixture of modern and mediaeval music, electronic music meeting mediaeval sounds, instruments and various languages, like for example Latin. The result has an esoteric, calming air to it. So far, Qntal have released six albums, one DVD and several singles - on this "Best Of" album, they take stock of that. Among the tracks: all of the trio’s club hits, above all a great version of their terrific "Palästinalied", and their first smasher "Ad mortem festinamus", and the anthem "Cupido". Altogether, you’ll get 27 tracks, among them many exclusive remixes and revamped versions of well-known songs. Qntal are really unique - and "Purpurea" mirrors that with its luxurious packaging design.
