"Puro amor" LP black by Broilers
Article description
'Puro Amor' is an album about love and letting go. About moving on, even when it's hard. Fans had to wait four years until the Broilers finally gathered their community again:
46 minutes and 14 songs about true, real, big, and pure love, with all its ups and downs. From the first gentle kiss, from the lovebite to the wound, to the warm feeling of home, from the worst fight to the painful loss.
Partnership, family, a deep friendship that encompasses all that has come before - like the friendship that brought the band together 27 years ago and still holds them together today.
In a world that seems to enjoy being at war, the Broilers have at least made peace with themselves and embraced what has accompanied them for a long time: pathos, emotions, contrasts. There are powerful brass sections, offbeats, soul and rocksteady, flirtations with power-pop and kitsch, and all of this as if it were the most logical and normal thing in the world, alongside heavy guitar walls, big choruses, and a drum kit that only wants to move forward. And there's also a nod to the rehearsal room, where they started as young Oi! punks in 1994, to now assert themselves as one of the biggest rock bands in the country. Not many dare to venture this eclectic mix. The Broilers can't imagine it any other way anymore.
Founded by school friends in 1994, the band now plays at the forefront. The music of the Broilers now appears on their own label 'Skull & Palms Recordings', the last three albums reached gold status, and both of the most recently released LPs made it to number one on the German charts.
