Well, now, let's get down to business! I have to admit: I have never been the biggest Soulfly fan but whatever it is that's blasting out the speakers of my stereo is more than impressive. The songs push and punch into every corner of my mind. Max himself said that "Primitive" is the heaviest piece of music he has ever released. His Sepultura roots are still omnipresent and he has gathered some big names as guest musicians he has gathered for the album: Tom Araya (Slayer), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Chino Moreno (Deftones), Grady Avenall (Will Haven) and Sean Lennon. Hence, "Primitive" is quite experimental without loosing it's structure at any time. Just listen to Asha's gospel vocals or the occasional hiphop vocals. This is some good crossover and boys and girls: There is only one way...! You gotta listen to this. What a slammer. I am thrilled!
